Ahmed Amir is an accomplished artist, graphics designer, 3D artist and musician. He started painting at an early age inspired by the natural beauty and exotic surroundings of his beautiful homeland, Maldives. Amir’s artistic talent is seen not only on canvas but also in the digital realm. He is a graphic designer and 3D modeler as well and works closely with interior designers and architects to realize their projects. His many projects in this field include 3D visuals and walkthroughs for resorts, real estate projects and recreational facilities. Amir’s passion for creativity also flowed into the world of music. He is one of Maldives most renowned drummers, having performed with the Freeze Band and later Zero Degree Atoll. Amir still performs today as a session drummer with some of the top musicians in Maldives. Amir has exhibited his work extensively in Maldives and abroad. Some highlights include the Visions art exhibition held in Beijing, China, in May 2019 and the Impermanence solo exhibition held at the National Art Gallery in Male’ in November 2019
