Ibrahim Shaheen was born in Ha. Hoarafushi, Maldives in 1994. having grown up in one of the most beautiful countries of the world, surrounded by its natural beauties and rice culture, his love to capture the mundane objects, nature and surrounds was nurtured from a young age. Ibrahim Shaheen was always fascinated by the images and how the world is represented through the eyes of others. Ibrahim Shaheen’s talent was nurtured in his school years where he opened to study Art and his wining of the Cambridge Top Ten World Awards in 2011 was greatly encouraging. Shaheen explores the unlimited potential of oil painting, acrylic painting, knife painting, airbrush painting, drywall art, craft works, digital art, and modern art. With different styles and techniques in his paintings there is a sense of dynamism and exuberance in his works of art is an exciting kinetic experience and collaborating with several Maldivian and Australian artists. He has executed many commissioned art works and also exhibited in many exhibitions in the Maldives.
