From an early age, I have had interests in different forms of art and creative works. Recently I came across Mixed Media Arts, which fascinated me. Out of curiosity, I started my journey in 2019, which continues to surprise me on how much I could experiment. As a full-time employee and a Degree Student, I have to squeeze time as much as I can to give time for my projects. My projects contain thousands of screws, which is later painted by Oil color
We often take our marine life for granted. Disposing garbage’s and ropes to the ocean have caused many of these animals to get caught in and awfully injured. As Maldives majorly depends on tourism, we should all take part in the well-being of the marine life. My project is concentrated to create awareness for the delicate beauty of our marine life and that we all are equally responsible to create a safe environment to protect them. Whale sharks are gentle beautiful giants, making them wonderful diving companions when you’re out on your ocean ventures. Let’s all appreciate and protect these beautiful and gentle creatures.
I spent more than 600hrs to complete this project. Plywood board is drilled and then screwed, which the head of the screws are painted individually. The projects contain approximately 7000 screws.
