Aishath Sajiyaan Abdul Sattar (Yaana) is an Artist from Maldives experimenting with different mediums. Although her most used medium is acrylics, she has recently been incorporating putty into her artworks which she believes gives her artworks a better touch. As a creator, she works hard to develop artworks that speaks both to her and the viewer about the beauty that exists within. Growing up enjoying art always as a part of her life, which she is always thankful to her amazing mother for, she has incorporated art into all aspects of her everyday life which includes photography, baking and flying. She has several years of experience, 5 since starting her own joint Art group “Alhiarts” with another brilliant Artist. “Alhiarts” is what she’s known for best, and what she cherishes the most. She has had several solo exhibitions, an installation in Hulhumale’ Central Park working with the Maldivian Government, various other exhibitions over the past 6 years such as KHF, Art Festivals, Unveiling Visions etc, and Live Arts including Wall Murals across the Maldives. She is always looking to better her art and strives to one day make remarkable artworks that help her viewers treasure the true beauty and peace in art.
