Maldives International Art Exhibition 2021 is schedule to be open on 23rd October 2021 evening at National Art Gallery, Maldives. Exhibition is organised by SMD Art Foundation India, in collaboration with Indian Culture Centre, High Commission of India Maldives and Maldivian Artist Community – MAC and National Art Gallery Maldives.
In a communication Mintu Deka, founder and managing director of SMD Art Foundation NGO said that, they have been organising International art exhibitions and festivals all over the world for the last eleven years. After the pandemic, this exhibition will be the first mega exhibition to be organised by SMD art foundation. Mintu Deka also add, the wold is facing a huge pandemic that has changed life for millions of people. In the time like this, “hope” can be a powerful source of reassurance. “Hope” is the belief, the intensity of this feeling can really change your present and future
Maldivian Artist Community – MAC, General Secretary Hussain Ihfal – iphpha said that, in this pandemic hard days we are going through, this exhibition will be one of the best and biggest International exhibition going to happen this year. He said six artists from Maldives will participate in this International exhibition and those six are from Maldivian Artist Community – MAC. He also thanks to the organisers of the exhibition SMD Art Foundation, Indian High Commission Maldives and National Art Gallery for organising such a huge exhibition.
91 artists from 30 countries are participating Maldives International Art Exhibition – 2021 participated countries are Maldives, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Republic of Korea, Singapore, Japan, Vietnam, Taiwan, Malaysia, Egypt, Jordan, Iran, Iraq, Turkey, Argentina, Chile, Austria, France, Spain, Slovakia, Serbia, Bulgaria, Switzerland, Sweden, Netherlands, France, Russia, Canada and USA.
