Aishath Nifa
Art has always been a passion for Nifa, but further studies and fulltime employment kept her away from art for a sometime; but art had not left her! Nifa got back to artwork as self-therapy and found solace in her passion after she stopped formal employment. Although water colour used to be her main medium, her “zone de confort”, she has recently started exploring others. She has always been fascinated by the intricate designs used by Maldivian craftspeople in their lacquer work and limestone carvings. Her artworks now reflect such traditional designs done in detail with mixed medium and it has become her signature art style and are showcased in her Instagram account.
