I am drawn to new mediums, exploring the interaction of chance with predetermined structures. Natural phenomena like the flow of water and gravity fascinate me as does the process of making. My art works are an exploration of this dialogue between the interaction of chance, gesture and structure.
I chose to do my art work on the motorcycle as it has never been attempted to customise in such a fashion and I wanted to do something different and unique. Through out the project I went through a lot of challenges as this was new to me, aside from doing an artwork on a canvas, this wasn’t done on a flat surface so it was very difficult. There were a lot of set backs and also it consumed a lot of time. The idea just came to me cause I love new challenges and also love to bring forward new ideas and artwork. This artwork includes a fusion of past and future in modern hiriga as in a concept.
