I am a self-taught artist, hailing from the Maldives. Most people know me as Baachy. I consider myself to be introverted and have found a way of expressing myself through the amazing process of art. By means of painting, I have woken a new form of myself, who is inspired by the worldly chaos and harmony around me. The beauty is fathomless; but, it is the beauty within, the more aesthetic aspect of life that truly triggers my inner being.
Sharks are always known as, ravenous, dangerous and aggressive. However, most of the time when they’re swimming along the depths of the ocean they are, peaceful, still, elegant and does not react with fear or aggression to the proximity of humans. This painting describes, that no matter how someone perceives you, whether it be good or bad. Nobody knows you, who you truly are, except yourself. Therefore, the only person’s perception that matters is, yours.
